36 e-bikes gutted in motor showroom fire in Andhra

Amaravati, Oct 24 (IANS) Upwards of 36 electric bicycles were destroyed in an enormous fire in an engine display area in Andhra Pradesh’s Parvatipuram region, police said.

The occurrence occured in Manam Engines in Palakonda town in the early long periods of Monday.

E-bicycles and batteries saved in the display area for unique limited deal on Diwali were annihilated in the fire.

Fire tenders hurried to the spot and soaked the fire.

Authorities suspect that a short out may have caused the fire. Definite reason will be known after examination, a cop said.

As per the display area the board, the fire caused a deficiency of about Rs 50 lakh.

The fire from the display area situated in the storm cellar of a multi-story building had spread to a lodging on the highest level, killing eight people and harming nine others remaining in the inn.
