A 72-year-old North Carolina lady is blamed for pounding the life out of her 8-year-old granddaughter, as per an assertion from the Nash Province Sheriff’s Office.
Not long after 4 p.m., delegates were informed that a youngster had been taken to the Trauma center at Nash UNC Medical care with serious wounds and articulated dead upon appearance.
“In view of the examination, it was resolved that the 8-year-old adolescent was beaten so extreme by the grandma that she died from the wounds,” police claimed in its articulation.
“The youngster had serious wounds all through her whole body and head.”
Patricia Ricks was accused of one count of first-degree murder and one count of crime kid maltreatment with serious injury, police expressed.
Ricks was the legitimate watchman of six kids residing inside her home, including the kid who died from her wounds, Sheriff Keoth Stone said during a public interview.

Ricks was taken to the sheriff’s office where she offered no expression, authorities said in a proclamation.
She is presently being held without bond at the Nash Area Confinement Center. It was indistinct whether she acquired a lawyer to talk for her benefit.
