Firefighters in Charlotte are combating a five-alarm hearth at a construction website online inside the SouthPark vicinity alongside Liberty Row Drive. It is the same location where SouthPark Mall is placed.
According to WCNC, the hearth commenced Thursday morning that sent a thick plume of black smoke into the air. The fire is close to Fairview Road and Piedmont Row Drive. A 5th alarm changed into called for the fireplace, the Charlotte Fire Department confirmed.
Until all of the flames are contained, the police have asked people to keep away from the following regions: Liberty Drive, Fairview Road, Assembly Street, Barclay Downs Drive, and Park South Drive.
