Gyanvapi case: Varanasi court rejects Muslim plea, next hearing on Sep 29

Varanasi (UP), Sep 22 (IANS) A Varanasi court, on Thursday, dismissed the Muslim side’s supplication for permitting two months’ time prior to proceeding the meeting in the Gyanvapi Shrinagar Gauri question case.

The following hearing regarding this situation is booked for September 29.

The court likewise gave a notification to the Muslim side to record their protests on the application for scientifically measuring of the ‘Shivling’ by the Hindu side till September 29.

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, addressing the Hindu side, said that they are recording an application to request scientifically measuring of the Shivling.

“We are requesting scientifically measuring. The Muslim side says it is a wellspring, we say it is a Shivling. A free body should examine and learn this,” Jain said.

“The court gave a notification over our application for scientifically measuring and requested complaints from the Muslim side; removal on September 29.

The court dismissed the two months’ time looked for by the mosque board to get ready for the following hearing,” he added.

The Court additionally brought up criticisms on dropping the 16 impleaders from the Hindu side, who had participated far beyond the 5 unique disputants.
