Simply cuz the path is unfold-ing. Constantly. Like the seed that births the buds which blooms and stretches toward the sun. Extended petal limbs bathing in that warmth, that light. Constantly. I guess the the one thing I can count on in this lifetime. The one consistent thing is the inconsistency. Change is inevitable, I can fear it…I have..Usually cuz I’m clinging on to something. An place, a person, a thing, a noun..an idea..an ideology..Sometimes anything will do, I just want to feel like I’m in control of…something. And yet, I’m learning that if seasons changes, and the sun and moon change space in the sky according to my little eye looking up from my side..if the mountains change, eroding with each gentle rain, a volcano erupts birthing a new one again. If all that lives and is from the atom to the galaxy changes..who am I not to? I am, after all, a piece of thread in the quilt of it all. A piece of thread.. Sometimes so focused on my individual fibers I can’t see the whole. Or I don’t trust the whole or I don’t want to be a part of the intricate gnit the universe continues to weave…but what is a strand of thread without the spool it comes from or what it’s woven into. Just a piece of thread. I am part of this big, odd, frustrating, love filled, evolving, trauma inducing, healing, pragmatic, mystical, wonder of a world. With you. I think that’s cool. Yep.
