Chandigarh, Oct 13 (IANS) Punjab Police, focal security organizations and Maharashtra ATS on Thursday captured a suspect from Mumbai in the rocket-pushed explosive (RPG) assault case in Mohali close to here.
The suspect, Charat Singh, was instrumental in offering strategic help and orchestrating weapon.
“He is key employable and partner of #Canada-based #BKI fear monger Lakhbir Singh @ Landa. @PunjabPoliceInd will endeavor to make the state wrongdoing free according to vision of CM @BhagwantMann,” Punjab Chief General of Police Gaurav Yadav tweeted.
A RPG was terminated from outside the road, which arrived on the third floor of the Punjab Police’s Knowledge Central command in Area 77 of Mohali on May 9.
During examination, police observed that the assault was a trick of Babbar Khalsa Worldwide (BKI), supported by Pakistan’s Between Administrations Knowledge (ISI) and nearby hoodlums.

A 272-page chargesheet was recorded in a court this week that outlined charges against seven of the 13 blamed for the situation.
Seven blamed, including an adolescent, have been captured while the leftover are fleeing.
