Who is Jenny Han?
Jenny Han, born and brought up in Richmond, Virginia, to Korean-American guardians, is a creator of youthful grown-up fiction and kids’ fiction. In 1998, she moved on from the Lead representative’s School for Government and Worldwide Studies. She sought after her advanced education at the College of North Carolina at Church Slope. In 2006, she finished her Lord of Expressive arts degree in exploratory writing at The New School.
During her time in school, Jenny Han thought of her most memorable book, the kids’ novel named Shug. This novel, distributed in 2006, follows the excursion of Annemarie Wilcox, a twelve-year-old young lady exploring the difficulties of middle school.
After Shug, Jenny Han set out on her next project, a youthful grown-up sentiment set of three that rotates around a young lady’s groundbreaking encounters throughout her mid year breaks. The set of three contains three books: “The Late spring I Turned Pretty,” “It’s Not Summer Without You,” and “We’ll Constantly Have Summer.” These books were distributed by Simon and Schuster somewhere in the range of 2009 and 2011 and immediately acquired colossal prominence, procuring a spot on the esteemed New York Times Hits list.
In 2014, Jenny Han acquainted perusers with a dazzling youthful grown-up romance book named “To All the Young men I’ve Cherished Previously.” The original’s ubiquity took off, and not long after its delivery, it was optioned for a screen variation. The spin-off, “P.S. I Actually Love You,” hit the racks the next year and was perceived with the lofty Youthful Grown-up 2015-2016 Asian/Pacific American Honor for Writing. A third book, “Until the end of time, Lara Jean,” was delivered in 2017.
Her book “To All the Young men I’ve Adored Previously” was delivered by Netflix in August 2018. The spin-off films, “To All the Young men: P.S. I Actually Love You” and “To All the Young men: Until the end of time,” were delivered in 2020 and 2021. A side project TV series named “XO, Kitty,” connected to the “To All the Young men” film series delivered in May 2023. Jenny Han made the series as well as took on jobs as the essayist, chief maker, and showrunner.
In June 2022, “The Mid year I Turned Pretty” TV series transformation was delivered on Amazon Prime.
